Silent Pool 10km

Silent Pool 10km is a guided evening trail run that starts and finishes at Silent Pool near Guildford. The route uses scenic sections of the North Downs Way and the Netley Heath woodland, mixing wide chat-friendly trails with narrower single-track sections and views towards Shere. The event is led as a group rather than a race, making it suitable for runners new to trails or anyone who prefers social, guided outings.

The run is guided by coach Matt Buck and includes practical safety measures such as headtorch provision after sunset and a full kit list issued before the event. Participants may have the opportunity to try trail shoes and Silva head torches, and there is a post-run beer available subject to availability. Meeting and briefing take place at Silent Pool Car Park, with further logistical information sent to participants a few days before the run.
