Greensand Way Ultra Run

The Greensand Way Ultra Run is a guided 30-mile trail running experience organised by Running Adventures and led by coach Matt Buck. The route combines sections of the North Downs Way and the Greensand Way, taking in notable climbs such as Leith Hill, Pitch Hill and Holmbury Hill before returning to the start at West Hanger. The event is explicitly non-competitive and designed as a supportive group run with coaching, route guidance and practical trail advice for first-time ultra runners and experienced participants alike.

Participants meet at West Hanger, Staple Lane, Guildford and the run starts at 08:00 on Saturday 2 May 2026; further event information and a full kit list are provided to entrants in advance. Entry is £45 per person and there is free parking at the start/finish; a complimentary post-run beer is offered subject to availability. The organiser will supply final logistics and any last-minute instructions a few days before the run.
