Start: Hyde Park, London
The Royal Parks Half Marathon is a closed-road, city-centre half marathon that showcases four of London’s Royal Parks and many of the capital’s best-known landmarks. The course is a single lap of approximately 13.1 miles, described on the official route page as starting in Hyde Park and finishing in Kensington Gardens, and it runs past sights such as Buckingham Palace and the Royal Albert Hall. A refreshed finish line was introduced for 2025, and the route notes several water stations along the course to support runners throughout the race.
The 2026 race is scheduled for Sunday 11 October 2026 and offers both ballot entry and charity places; a number of charities operate dedicated team places with associated fundraising targets and runner benefits. After the race participants move to the event village in Hyde Park where organisers and charity teams provide race-day services and hospitality, and the event web pages and linked charity pages provide detailed guidance about fundraising places, registration deadlines and participant support.
