Rheinhöhenlauf RUN50 is a three-day, three-stage trail event centred on Linz am Rhein, presented as a roughly 50-kilometre challenge with about 1,000 metres of total ascent. The organiser’s Save‑the‑Date lists the 19th Rheinhöhenlauf with RUN50 for 25–27 September 2026; the start and finish will again be in Linz am Rhein while the exact course route will change, with stages running across the borderland between the Westerwald and the Siebengebirge to provide varied terrain and a multi-day running experience for solo runners and teams.
The event is organised locally by VfB 1920 Linz e.V. together with BBC Linz and TV Linz (previous editions have directed proceeds to the organising clubs). Registration for the 2026 edition is stated to open in mid‑February via the Raceresult portal; online entries are planned to close on 11 September 2026. Official results and certificates will be provided through the Raceresult service.
Participant logistics and services highlighted by the organisers include on-course aid stations and provisions, clothing/bag transport and a secure bag drop, an event shirt and finishers' medal, a special historic railbus transfer and catering/fingerfood at key locations. Precise start times, detailed stage distances and full fee information will be published on the official event website and the race registration/result portal as they become available.
