The Rame Head Race is a multi-distance coastal running event held on the Mount Edgcumbe Peninsula centred at Cremyll/ Torpoint. The race uses a single loop of roughly 10.6 km around the peninsula; that loop is run once for the 10K, twice for the half marathon and four times for the marathon, with 1K and 2K children’s races also on the programme. The event is run by Sportiva Events and is noted for scenic coastal views, mixed hills and faster sections, and a fully marked, marshalled course with kilometre markers.
Race-day services emphasise participant support with professional chip timing, feed stations, on-site first aid and professional event photography (hi-res downloads offered). Practical features for competitors include on-site camping (additional charge), nearby paid parking and convenient access via the Cremyll Ferry from Plymouth. Awards include finishers’ medals for all and podium medals for category winners, and a strict one-prize-per-person policy is applied for podium prizes.
