The Punk Panther Skipton Skedaddle is a multi-distance trail running event organised by Punk Panther Endurance Events, taking place in Skipton on 16 May 2026. Runners can choose from a half marathon (c.13 miles), a 20-mile trail race, a 34-mile ultra and a 50-mile ultra that visit highlights such as Malham Tarn, Gordale Scar and sections of the Dales High Way, River Aire Ultra and the Pennine Way. The routes combine moorland, dale and limestone features and include substantial ascent, with the longest course climbing several thousand feet and offering UTMB and ITRA qualifying points for the relevant distances. Provisional GPX files and route descriptions are published by the organiser and final competitor instructions are emailed to entrants in advance of the event.
Registration and race check-in are at St Andrew's Church on Newmarket Street in Skipton, with specific start windows for each distance and a final event close at 23:00 on race day. All ultramarathon entrants are provided with live trackers and tracker hire is available for shorter trail distances; a mandatory kit list and random kit checks are enforced for safety. Entries are managed via the SI Entries portal and XCover refund insurance is offered as an option for eligible cancellations. Finishers receive a medal and may opt to receive an event T‑shirt, with hot food, drinks and aid stations available at the finish.
