The ProPotsdam Schlösserlauf invites runners to "run through history" on a scenic route weaving past palaces, churches, parks and gardens in Potsdam. Celebrated for its UNESCO World Heritage surroundings, the course showcases historic gates, monuments, lakes, rivers and bridges, offering over seven notable sights along the way. With two popular distances, a 10 km and a half marathon, the event draws a large field and a lively atmosphere in Germany’s Brandenburg state capital.
Runners can look forward to a personal finisher video capturing their achievement, alongside an engaging Experience Sport Day featuring activity stations and information stands. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Sunday, 7 June, with the half marathon starting at 09:00 and the 10 km at 09:20. The event typically welcomes over 4,500 participants and blends heritage-rich scenery with well-organised race operations for a memorable day out.
