The 24. Frostwiesenlauf brings a two-day winter running celebration to Burg (Spreewald) and its picturesque surroundings on 24–25 January 2026. Runners can expect friendly organisation and a relaxed atmosphere across multiple distance options suited to a wide range of abilities. Set against the distinctive waterways and meadows of the Spreewald, the event blends scenic winter running with local hospitality and community spirit.
On the event website you will find programme blocks, start-number collection details and guidance for late entries. Bib collection is scheduled at Bootshaus Leineweber and the Landhotel across the weekend, and organisers advise using a laptop or PC for registration due to programme complexity. Expect warm refreshments at on-course points, including treats such as crepes, mulled wine and tea, creating an inviting experience even in wintry conditions.
