Start/Finish at Lusthauswiese, Belvedereallee, 1020 Vienna (near Lusthaus)
PRATERBLÜTEN-LAUF (the Prater Blossom Run) is a one-day community running event held in Vienna’s Prater, organised by Laufen im Zweiten as part of the Wien-Läuft series. The main course is a largely flat 5,000-metre circuit through Auwald forest and meadow paths with some short sections of bitumen, finishing on the Belvedereallee near the Lusthauswiese; a shorter 500-metre loop is provided for the youngest children. The race offers measured and timed results under the Wien-Läuft rules and is promoted as family-friendly with children’s races and accessible public-transport links.
The event day features multiple start times including Nordic Walking and children’s races in the morning and the main 5 km and 10 km runs from 10:10. The 5 km main run includes a 3-person team classification ("3er-Teamwertung") and awards are scheduled in two windows on the day. Organisers publish day-before bib pickup and on-site registration options, and finishers receive medals under the series rules; full timing and certificate (Urkunde) services are provided.
