Pivoň's Run

Pivoňův běh is a community trail-running event held in the Písecké hory near the town of Písek in the Jihočeský kraj. The event (referred to on the site as Pivoňův běh) reaches its sixth edition in 2026 and brings together routes for beginners and experienced runners through scenic woodland, pond embankments and historic local sites. The race day is centred at the former shelter Na Křižatkách (louka Na Křižatkách / Bílý dům), where participants can expect a race village atmosphere, merchandise and basic services for participants and visitors.

The programme combines competitive races (5 km, 10 km and a half marathon), children’s races and a non‑competitive charity walk, and the organisers emphasise an environmental and charitable focus. Registration supports selected environmental projects and the site publishes a cumulative charity total; merchandise and a pre‑race village are offered. Timings, course maps, elevation figures and specific entry rules (including payment and re‑registration conditions) are published in the event propozice and registration pages on the official site.
