Montan'Aspe 2026 is a mountain trail weekend centred in Bedous in the Vallée d'Aspe, organised by Association Montanaspe with timing and race services delivered in partnership with Pyrénées Chrono. The programme brings multiple timed races across distinct distances plus a non-timed randonnée and a four-person team relay, and for 2026 the event introduces a new 108 km ultra-trail (the 100 K Aspe) with a night start. The event is intended for experienced mountain runners and features very large elevation profiles across high Pyrenean terrain, tested aid stations and time barriers on the longer courses.
The organisers emphasise environmental protection: the ultra route crosses sensitive nesting zones and GPX traces are withheld until spring to limit disturbance, with coordination reported with national park and wildlife bodies. Entrants register online (NJuko) and via local priority windows, and detailed race regulations, start times and entry conditions are published in the official race regulation and on the event pages. Montan'Aspe 2026 therefore combines a challenging set of mountain courses, wildlife-aware logistics and both individual and team formats for competitors of different levels.
