Montagnon Trail 2026

The Trail du Montagnon (Trail du Montagnon 2026) is a mountain trail event centred on the village of Aydius in the Vallée d'Aspe, Pyrénées‑Atlantiques. The event combines technical alpine singletrack, high mountain passes and lake viewpoints, offering marked courses through rugged Pré‑Pyrénées terrain. Routes are presented for a range of abilities and include aid stations and on‑course medical support, with courses certified by ITRA.

Organised by the Comité des Fêtes d’Aydius, the one‑day festival of trails includes two main competitive races and a randonnée option, all departing from Aydius on 1 August 2026. The principal Sarris Trail is a high‑mountain 34 km course with roughly 2,400 m of ascent, while the Ronde des Isards is a shorter 15 km trail with approximately 750 m of ascent; a sportive randonnée is also offered.
