The Mauerweg bei Nacht – im Schein von 50 Stirnlampen is an annual nocturnal ultramarathon organised by LG Mauerweg Berlin e.V. The 2026 edition is a 58 km group run along the Berliner Mauerweg, starting at S‑Bahnhof Lichterfelde Süd and finishing at Gesundbrunnen‑Grundschule. The event runs overnight and is staged in fixed tempo groups to keep runners together and safe on public roads. It is presented as a traditional night run and a practical preparation for the 100MeilenBerlin event.
Participants choose from four fixed tempo groups with staggered starts between 21:45 and 23:30, and the organiser provides start‑to‑finish luggage transport, aid stations and changing facilities at the finish. Mandatory kit includes a functional headlamp, reflective vest, mobile phone, collapsible cup, whistle and emergency blanket, reflecting the overnight and urban‑road nature of the course. A small outdoor breakfast with hot coffee is served at the finish and a downloadable certificate is available after the run. Entry is deliberately limited, producing a compact field and supportive atmosphere.
