Mattoni Running Festival České Budějovice 2026 is a one-day running festival organised by RunCzech that showcases the historic heart of České Budějovice. The race itinerary guides participants through the city centre and past numerous historic buildings, with the start located on the citys second largest square. The event offers a broad programme of races for elites, recreational runners and families, creating a lively festival atmosphere in South Bohemias capital.
The festival highlights include an evening half marathon, relay and linked 2Run distances alongside short and childrens races, making the day suitable for competitors of all ages and abilities. Title partner Mattoni and partners such as Vodafone and DM support the event, and organisers publish video and media from previous editions to illustrate the route and race experience. As part of the RunCzech festival series, the event combines sport, city scenery and community engagement in a compact, spectator-friendly format.
