Maidstone Pretty Muddy 5k 2026 | Race for Life is a fundraising obstacle event organised by Cancer Research UK and held at Mote Park in Maidstone. The 5k course runs around the park lake, across cross‑country terrain and park paths, and includes muddy obstacles, a few steep inclines and grassed start and finish areas. Start times are staggered in waves, with each wave beginning every 15 minutes, and participants are encouraged to take part at their own pace while raising funds for life‑saving cancer research.
The event page states a minimum fundraising target of £50 and sets an age limit of 13 years and older. Facilities at the park for the event include refreshments, toilets and parking, and spectators are welcome; the organisers note that the course is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs and that sunflower wristbands and BSL content are available on site. Competitors are advised that the course map is subject to change and to check the event page for final details nearer the event.
