Liverpool - Sefton Park 10k 2026 | Race for Life – Cancer Research UK is a charity 10K held in aid of Cancer Research UK, inviting participants to run or walk while raising funds for life‑saving research. The event is chip‑timed so entrants can record personal performance while supporting a fundraising target, and it explicitly encourages people to join forces or take part solo. The race welcomes a broad range of participants and emphasises community, fundraising and an inclusive atmosphere throughout the park.
The course comprises two 5 km laps around Sefton Park, using a mixture of gravel paths and grass with some undulations, and may become boggy in wet weather. Facilities on site include toilets and refreshments, and the event is promoted as accessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs with additional accessibility measures such as BSL content at the enquiries marquee. Competitors and supporters are encouraged to use public transport to reach Sefton Park, with no designated event parking provided.
