The "Lichtenberger Talsperrenlauf" is a family-focused cross‑country running day held around the local Talsperre (reservoir) in Lichtenberg, Saxony. The event day offers a range of distances for all ages, from Bambini sprints (300 m) and children's races up to 1 km, through a public Volkslauf and the main Talsperrenlauf options, up to the TSL‑MAX 13 km course. The organiser and series maintain archives of results and photographs for recent years and announce the next edition on the event site.
The 2026 edition is listed for 3 May 2026 and is organised in close cooperation with SV Lichtenberg and the local TSL Runners team. The event emphasises a family festival atmosphere with children’s activities, food and drink provisions, and a finisher (Finnish) medal for participants.
