The Lautrer Lebenslauf is a charity run held in Kaiserslautern that supports the Förderverein „Mama/Papa hat Krebs“ Kaiserslautern e.V., in collaboration with FCK‑Running (1. FC Kaiserslautern). The event is explicitly non‑competitive and framed as a solidarity run rather than a race; organisers state that faster is not necessarily better. Proceeds fund free support services for children and families affected by parental cancer, and the project is delivered in partnership with the Krebsgesellschaft Rheinland‑Pfalz e.V. The event is scheduled for Sunday 6 September 2026 and takes place regardless of weather.
Participants may choose from a children’s 1 km run and forest distances of 5 km and 10 km, with the children’s run starting at 09:45 and the main races starting at 10:15. The course follows forest paths in the Pfälzer Wald with marked drink stations on the 5 km and 10 km routes; practical facilities such as showers/changing rooms and parking are provided at the Schulzentrum Süd venue. Personalised bibs are available for entrants who register by the stated deadline, there is a charitable tombola and refreshments on site, and results (including printable certificates) are published on the event website after the run.
