KoBoLT is a privately organised ultratrail event run by Team KoBoLT along the Rheinsteig; the original name on the organiser site is KoBoLT. The 16th edition is scheduled for 28–29 November 2026 with a long course that starts in Koblenz and finishes in Bonn (Jupp‑Gassen‑Halle). The race is long established (results available 2010–2025) and is presented as part of the KoBoLT series with UTMB relevance noted on the organiser pages.
The 140 km KoBoLT course is characterised by extensive elevation (4,440 m ascent), four manned aid stations and mandatory kit requirements reflecting late‑season conditions. The organiser site states a small starter field (55 starters maximum) and includes practical support such as an included bus transfer to the start and dropbag provision at a designated aid point. The event is run as a private/non‑profit race by Team KoBoLT with medals for finishers and prize recognition for top finishers.
