Ketziner Fischerman is a Volkstriathlon organised by the Stadt Ketzin/Havel in cooperation with Veranstaltungsservice Ketzin. Held at the Ketziner Havelstrand, the event features a 0.6 km swim, approximately 18 km of cycling and a 5 km run, with entries for Einzelstarter or three-person relay teams. The race is conducted under DTU rules and includes anti-doping provisions, making it suitable for newcomers as well as experienced triathletes preparing for other competitions.
Race day begins with a mandatory briefing at 09:00 and an official start at 09:30; packet pick-up is available the day before. The event provides chip timing (rental chip included), on-course refreshments and a race shirt for entrants, and enforces a bike-leg cut-off of 1 hour 30 minutes. Finishers receive certificates and top performers are recognised in a prize ceremony presided over by the Fischerkönigin.
