KENT BACKYARD ULTRA - Bedgebury

KENT BACKYARD ULTRA - Bedgebury is a Backyard Ultra event in which competitors run a 4.167‑mile loop every hour, on the hour; the race begins on 26 June 2026 at 21:00 and the venue listing runs through 28 June 2026. The format is brutally simple and brilliantly tough: finish each loop within 60 minutes to continue, miss the bell and you are out. The last runner standing wins and there is an alternative seven‑hour challenge for participants who prefer a fixed-duration option.

The event is held at Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest on forest trails, wide gravel tracks and shaded woodland paths, with roughly 305 feet of climb noted per lap. This Bedgebury round is the finale of the four‑part Kent Backyard Ultra Series organised by Hellfire Events and features a medal and buckle reward structure alongside mandatory kit rules.
