The IKK Südwest Kurparklauf (3. IKK Südwest Kurparklauf) is a one-day running event held on Saturday 1 August 2026 with start and finish at the Kurparkfestgelände in Weiskirchen, Saarland. The event routes run predominantly through the Hochwald and are promoted as scenic forest-path courses; routes are reported as not officially measured. Timekeeping and results are handled by Meisterchip and certificates/results will be available for download via the Meisterchip results pages. The race day is organised by Gemeinde Weiskirchen in cooperation with IKK Südwest, Hochwald-Touristik and the local Vereinsgemeinschaft.
The meeting offers a mix of races for all ages and abilities, including a 1.2 km Schüler race (U10–U16), a 15.0 km main race and a 5.0 km mass-participation run with a concurrent Nordic-walking category. All Schüler participants receive a medal and prize on site, and the top three in each class for the 5 km and 15 km races receive prizes at the awards ceremony. Entries require payment at registration; the early-registration deadline is 25 July 2026 and on-site late entries are permitted up to one hour before each race. Facilities listed include changing rooms and showers at the Vitalis Bäderzentrum, parking near the Kurpark and water at the finish; dogs, buggies and bicycles are not permitted on the races.
