The Heinrich-Zille-Lauf (Zillelauf) is an annual community running event held in Radeburg, organised by TSV 1862 Radeburg e.V. The 31st edition is scheduled for Sunday 29 March 2026 and retains its traditional town-square atmosphere with features such as Leierkasten music, a start by the Schützenverein and life-size Zille figures on the square. The race day combines children’s and youth races with adult distances, and the event is noted for being family-friendly and locally rooted.
Multiple distances are offered including 0.4 km, 2.0 km, 5.0 km and 10.0 km plus a 5.0 km walk, with age-group rankings and cup points awarded under local Bezirksrangliste rules. Timekeeping uses disposable transponders on bibs and certificates are provided for participants; award ceremonies follow the regional ranking rules. Registration is via the listed online partner and the event has a participant cap and staged entry fees as set out in the official Ausschreibung.
