The Potzberg-Berglauf is a long-established hill run and the organiser lists the 41st edition for 14 November 2026. The course starts in Gimsbach (Ortsausgang Richtung Neunkirchen) and finishes at the Parkplatz am Potzbergturn, covering 8.2 km with approximately 350 m of ascent on asphalt country roads via Neunkirchen and Föckelberg. The route demands sustained climbing and rewards runners who excel on steep, continuous climbs.
Organised by TuS Glan-Münchweiler 1922 e.V., the event is the fourth race in the Pfälzer Berglaufpokal series for 2026 and is run with an individual start format. Online registration is available until 12 November 2026 (20:00) with on-the-day entries possible, and the official race start is scheduled for 14:30. Participants are offered clothes transport with a secure bag drop and post-race showers at Glantalschule, and the award ceremony takes place at 17:00 with prizes for overall winners and the top three in each age group.
