Heart Run Lower Austria 2026

Herzlauf Niederösterreich 2026 is a charity road running event centred on Hauptplatz Purkersdorf that supports Herzkinder Österreich; the official German event name is "Herzlauf Niederösterreich". The edition on 26 September 2026 offers two main race distances (4.35 km and 8.7 km) alongside a Nordic Walking option (4.35 km) and a programme of children’s races. Timing is provided by TIME NOW SPORTS using an RFID chip on the bib and live results are published via the timing provider.

The event is explicitly family-friendly with multiple children’s categories (Bambini 400 m, Kinder 400 m, Schüler/U12 800 m, Jugend/U16 1,200 m) that run in the morning before the main start; a warm-up for children and a broader Rahmenprogramm run from the morning. Online registration is open with a registration deadline of 20 September 2026 and on-site bib pickup is organised at Stadtsaal Purkersdorf on 25–26 September with official prize-giving (Siegerehrung) scheduled from 13:00. Each participant receives a goodie bag and a finisher medal, and proceeds benefit Herzkinder Österreich.
