The Hausruck Challenge 2026 is a one-day running festival held in Geboltskirchen, Austria, under the Hausruck Challenge brand and includes the Split Challenge, Light Challenge, Nordic Walking Challenge and multiple Kids races. The main course is a 26.2 km trail route through the Hausruckwald with roughly 420 metres of elevation gain, five aid stations and a strong emphasis on natural scenery and a supportive race‑village atmosphere. Organised by LC MKW Hausruck, the event offers on-site registration, a starter bag for participants and special early T‑shirt incentives for the first 100 sign-ups.
The day features staggered race starts and award ceremonies held at the Stockschützenhalle Geboltskirchen, shuttle services for selected starts and separate information sheets (Infoblätter) and GPX route files for competitors. Prizes are awarded to top finishers on the primary course and official results and starter lists are published on the event website. The event positions itself as a green, community‑focused trail festival suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.
