Grand Prix Winterthur

Grand Prix Winterthur is a city road running festival taking place on 31 May 2026. The 2026 edition returns to the classic distances — the half marathon (21.1 kilometres), 10 km and 5 km — and also includes a 1.6 km youth run plus family- and kids-focused activities. The event positions the half marathon as its flagship distance while keeping accessible options for newcomers and recreational runners. Registration opens on 11 November 2025 and entries are processed via the official event website.

The routes thread through Winterthur’s historic streets and pass the Eschenberg and the Töss, combining urban atmosphere with green recreational sections. On-site services noted on the organiser pages include bib pickup at the Laufzentrum / Kleine Reithalle from 07:00 on race day, changing rooms and a secure bag drop, as well as medical posts and refreshment stations along the course. Children may take part free in the kids and youth runs thanks to Migros partnership, and finishers receive a medal on completion.
