Grand Prix Winterthur

The Grand Prix Winterthur returns on 31 May 2026 with classic city centre distances that welcome a wide range of runners. The event day features a half marathon, a 10 km and a 5 km, alongside a Youth Run (1.6 km) and a Kids & Families offering, bringing competitive and family-friendly options together. Registration opens 11 November 2025 and on-site registration is available from 07:00 on race day at the Kleinen Reithalle.

The course weaves through the historic streets and alleys of Winterthur and includes scenic sections around the Eschenberg recreation area and the Töss river, offering varied urban and green scenery. The half marathon is described as a demanding route for experienced runners, while the 10 km and 5 km provide shorter but still challenging options for those building up distance. Participants can purchase a medal or running shirt, and finishers receive a complimentary finisher drink.
