The Deutsche Post Marathon Bonn 2026 brings a festive big-city running atmosphere to the Rhine, combining a fast road course with a scenic tour of Bonn’s landmarks. Runners pass across the Kennedy Bridge, along the riverbanks and through the former federal quarter before a memorable city-centre finish in front of the Altes Rathaus. With measured courses eligible for official rankings and modern bib-integrated timing, the event is designed for both personal bests and an enjoyable day out on the roads.
The programme caters to a wide community with a full marathon, half marathon, 10 km run, relay marathon and inclusive categories for walkers, inline skaters and handbikers. A lively marathon expo on Münsterplatz anchors the race weekend, while strong local support creates excellent vibes for participants and spectators alike.
