Straße des 17. Juni (between Brandenburg Gate and Siegessäule), 10785 Berlin, Germany — Expo & packet pickup at Tempelhof Airport (Flughafen Tempelhof)
The GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON is the official Berlin half marathon event taking place across the race weekend on 27–29 March 2026, with the main half marathon held on 29 March 2026. The 45th edition builds on a large international field (the 2025 edition attracted 40,721 runners from 135 nations) and is presented by SCC EVENTS. The event combines elite competition and mass participation alongside inclusive categories for inline skaters, wheelchair users and handbikers and aims to move and inspire people and communities.
The course is a largely flat, fast city‑centre route with the start/finish area on Straße des 17. Juni between the Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor) and the Siegessäule (Victory Column), making it well suited to personal best attempts. Participant services include Mika Tag disposable bib timing (timing transponder), chip timing, medical support, massage and on‑course supply points and aid stations. The event is staged with a festive atmosphere and substantial spectator support (around 40 bands and multiple cheering points). The start number is valid as a public transport ticket in tariff zone AB for the event day.
Expo and packet pickup will be held at Flughafen Tempelhof (Tempelhof Airport) on Friday 27 March 2026 and Saturday 28 March 2026. The weekend includes the main half marathon (29 March 2026), the new Garmin BERLIN MILE (public 1.609 km race) on 28 March 2026, youth events and additional participant options such as ticket insurance. The organiser, SCC EVENTS, also stages a large Half Marathon Expo at Tempelhof Airport where race material is collected and participants can meet partners and exhibitors. An inline‑skating category uses the main course (skaters may use the course approximately one hour before the runners) and has its own time limits and rules; full details of schedules, wave times, start lists and category rules are available on the official event website and the FAQs.
