The 25. Altstadtfestlauf (Old Town Festival Run) in Lauf an der Pegnitz returns on 26 June 2026 as an evening road race through the picturesque historic centre. The course threads through town-centre streets and past historic buildings, creating a festival-like atmosphere for community runners and spectators. The event is organised by Skiclub Lauf and presented as part of the Altstadtfestlauf series.
The 2026 programme includes two principal distances — a 10 km Hauptlauf (main run) and a 5 km Hobbylauf (fun run).
