Everstener Fountain Run

The Everstener Brunnenlauf is the 24th edition of the community running event in Oldenburg, held on 07 June 2026 and centred on the Everstener Brunnen / Marktplatz. Races run through the Everstener Holz on flat forest paths and include a range of distances for children and adults, most notably a measured 10.0 km loop and a 6.3 km Firmen- und Schnupperlauf (team format). The event is presented as a local Volkslauf with mass participation and youth categories, emphasising accessible courses suitable for recreational and club runners.

Timing and participant logistics are handled electronically with chip timing provided by RaceResult. Bib collection, showers and changing facilities are available at the Everstener Sporthalle on Feststraße. The 10 km course is precisely measured (Jones Counter). The Firmen- und Schnupperlauf is organised as teams of four (each team member completes laps as specified by the organiser). At the time of the latest update registration was open for 2026; the Firmen- und Schnupperlauf was reported as ausgebucht and around 1,900 runners were registered, while the 2025 edition recorded a participant peak of 3,479.
