Erzgebirge Tour – Threefold in the Mountains

Erzgebirgstour – Dreierlei im Gebirg is a planned three‑year cycling series that presents the Erzgebirge in three distinct regional editions, with a shared finale after the third year. The series name in the original German, "Erzgebirgstour – Dreierlei im Gebirg", emphasises regional variety and a compact, sport‑focused race day format for each edition. The first edition opens in the Westerzgebirge on 23 August 2026 and registration for the 2026 programme begins on 11 April 2026.

The series is organised by Radsportverein Aue e. V. and is promoted as a mass‑participation road event with fully closed courses, professional timekeeping and medical cover. Participants can expect a starter bag with a present, professional photography, prizes and a finisher present, while the organisers highlight long‑term collectability across editions.
