Erzberg Dirtrun

Erzberg Dirtrun is an obstacle-course event staged within the Erzberg mining terrain, presented under the KRONE Erzberg Adventure Days brand. The course integrates industrial mining features and natural terrain, with organisers advertising up to 60 integrated obstacles including large mud pools, abandoned tunnel systems and enormous heavy mining vehicles. The setting in Central Europe’s largest active iron ore mine gives the event a dramatic, festival-like atmosphere that aims to appeal to experienced OCR athletes and newcomers alike.

The event runs across the weekend of 11–12 July 2026 with multiple distance options and a Weekend Warrior bundle that combines short and long formats plus the AT&S Vertical Iron Sprint.
