DonnersbergTrail 2026

The DonnersbergTrail 2026 is a single-day trail running event held on 25 April 2026 in Imsbach, organised by LC Donnersberg 1987 e.V. The race day (listed on organiser pages as DonnersbergTrail) offers four distances across natural singletrack and forest trails on the Donnersberg massif, with significant cumulative ascent on each course. Routes finish at the Kupferberghütte and feature marked aid stations, mandatory kit requirements for longer distances and onsite race logistics centred at the Gemeindehalle Imsbach. The event emphasises pure trail running and natural terrain away from roads and asphalt.

Competitors may choose from 46 km, 33 km, 21 km and 12 km options with staggered starts between 09:00 and 11:00 local time; on-the-day registration (Nachmeldung) is possible and early-bird registration windows are published on the organiser site. Mandatory equipment applies from the T33 distance upwards, aid stations are positioned along the courses and all finishers receive a medal. Prize money is awarded to the first three men and women in each distance and post-race facilities include showers and food and drink services near the hall. A notable sporting rule applies to the T46 course: a cut-off at VP3 (around km 25) may divert runners to T33 classification if the cut-off is missed.
