Delamere Forest 21k & 42k takes place in the sheltered woodlands of Delamere Forest, offering marked trail running routes of 21 km and 42 km. Sections of the course run deep into the forest, around Blakemere Moss, along parts of the Sandstone Trail and up Old Pale Hill for wide Cheshire views. Each kilometre is waymarked with distance flags to aid navigation, and the terrain is undulating woodland trails suited to trail shoes. The event is staged by RunThrough and forms part of the RunThrough Trails Summit Series.
The day includes an event village at the Visitor Centre with food and drink options and partner freebies at the finish, plus on-site bag drop and race-day registration where required. The 42K field starts at 08:00 with the 21K field following at 09:00, and the overall event window runs through the afternoon. The organiser publishes mandatory kit guidance and operates under UK Athletics rules, and the race is listed as a UTMB Index event.
