The event Crosslauf „Rund um den Wolfshügel“ 2026 is an open city cross-country meeting organised by Post SV Dresden e.V., Abteilung Leichtathletik, and serves as the Dresdner Crossmeisterschaften und Stadtranglistenlauf 2026. Races are held on looped courses through the Dresdener Heide with routes that include the long climb from the König‑Albert‑Denkmal up to the Wolfshügelturm, and a detailed course map is provided in the official event PDF. Electronic timing is employed and on-site catering (including a field kitchen / gulaschkanone and refreshments) is confirmed on the organiser pages.
The programme covers multiple age groups with loop distances of 0.6 km, 1.2 km, 2.4 km, 4.7 km and 7.0 km plus a sprint relay, and category-specific start times are published in the official Ausschreibung. Pre‑registration is available online via the Leichtathletik Dresden registration form and day‑of entries are permitted where announced in the event documents. The meeting emphasises both individual and city‑ranking competition and is presented as an accessible, community‑focused cross‑country championship in Dresden.
