Course du Moun (Course du Moun à Mont-de-Marsan) is an annual town-centre road running event held as part of the Fêtes de la Madeleine. The races set off from Avenue de Nonères and wind through a 100% urban route before finishing beneath the century-old trees of Parc Jean Rameau, creating a shaded finish village. The day features multiple races for all ages and abilities, notably a chip-timed 10 km, a popular 4 km, an inclusive Joëlettes race and the children’s Mini Moun.
The event is positioned as convivial and community-led, with a festive atmosphere, a post-race buffet and on-site medical and physiotherapy support for participants. Practical services explicitly listed include two aid stations on the 10 km, showers available at Stade de l’Argenté after the race and dossard pickup on presentation of identity. Roads through the town centre are closed for the races, and an awards ceremony and prize draw take place after the finishes.
Start: Avenue de Nonères — Finish: Parc Jean Rameau, Mont-de-Marsan
