Armagnac Half Marathon

Le semi-marathon de l’Armagnac is a festival-style race day centred on Villeneuve-de-Marsan in the Bas‑Armagnac region, returning for its 20th edition on Sunday 27 September 2026. The event weekend combines running with local discovery, featuring a half marathon route that threads roads, vineyards and paths and finishes in the arènes to a festive bands programme. The organiser L'Élan d'Armagnac highlights scenic passages through the château de Ravignan and the domaine d’Ognoas, and the course is promoted as a mixed-surface route (roughly two‑thirds road, one‑third trails).

The meeting is family friendly with four co‑located events on the day (half marathon, 10 km, a 12 km walk and children’s Pitchouns races) plus a market-style village, pasta party and local producer tastings. Participants are invited to a costume contest and receive finish-line gifts for this special edition, while chip timing and official results are provided through the event’s timing partner.
