Chouffe Classic

The Chouffe Classic is a one-day cyclosportive held in and around Houffalize that challenges riders with multiple hard climbs through the Ardennes, most notably the famous Côte de Haussire. The event offers a choice of long, hilly routes (67 km, 107 km, 121 km and 158 km) and finishes at the Centre Sportif in Houffalize, with extensive on-route provisioning and mechanical/medical support for participants. Riders can expect clearly signposted parcours, secured bike parking, showers and a post-ride social scene including refreshments and partner hospitality.

Practical features include a pre-event Chouffe Pasta Party on the Friday before the ride and a Scan & Ride bib-collection system on race morning; the official site (Dutch/French) contains full parcours maps and detailed logistics. The event is presented under the Proximus Cycling Challenge branding and includes branded hospitality such as a Chouffe tasting and a take-home non-alcoholic Chouffe bottle, making it both a sporting challenge and a regional cycling experience.
