ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE - WinterRUN is a winter running event designed for all abilities and any weather, with certified 8 km and 4 km courses and a friendly atmosphere on Sokolský ostrov. Part of the innogy Winter RUN series, it blends city park scenery with crisp seasonal conditions, making for a memorable cold‑weather challenge. Chip timing is provided, medals await all finishers, and an on‑site expo and accompanying programme create a lively race village.
The race day offers a full schedule including children’s runs at 400 m and 800 m, a WINTER SPRINT 1 km, the innogy WINTER RUN 4 km, the innogy WINTER RUN 8 km, and the KPMG relay 2×4 km. Registration and pack pick‑up windows are clearly set out, with briefings and warm‑ups before each wave and prize‑givings to close the programme. Start and finish are conveniently located together on Sokolský ostrov, and the 8 km route is certified by the Czech Athletic Federation.
