The Berliner Frauenlauf is celebrated as Germany’s largest charity women’s run, set against the leafy avenues and landmarks of Berlin’s Tiergarten. Participants choose from 5 km and 10 km distances, with both running and Walking/Nordic Walking options, plus a popular bambini run for younger athletes. Since 2022 the event’s title sponsor has been KoRo, reflecting its modern, community‑minded character. The atmosphere on and along the course is known to be upbeat and supportive, making it welcoming for first‑timers as well as competitive runners.
The course starts and finishes on Straße des 17. Juni and features an iconic loop past the Siegessäule, along Hofjägerallee, through Tiergarten, and by the Brandenburg Gate before returning to the starting boulevard. Depending on distance, entrants complete one or two laps, with the 5 km fun‑run offering the option to run with or without official timing. Its central location ensures excellent public transport access, while detailed schedules and start times are typically published closer to race day. The event combines sightseeing with sport, creating a festive city‑park experience in the heart of Berlin.
