The ATW Odyssey Triathlon is the centrepiece of the ATW First To Full Triathlon Festival, inviting athletes to take on full- or half-distance challenges centred around Riverside Park, Regatta Meadow in St Neots. Competitors will swim in the meandering River Ouse before heading out on scenic Cambridgeshire roads and finishing with repeat laps that pass through the lively Race HQ and festival hub. The event combines river swimming, countryside riding and spectator-friendly running for a distinctive festival experience.
The Full Odyssey features a 3.8 km river swim, 180 km bike and a 42.2 km run with a 16-hour overall time limit and a combined 10-hour swim-and-bike cut-off. The Half Odyssey features a 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike and a 21.1 km run with a 14-hour overall cut-off. The run is lap-based (the course uses repeat laps that bring athletes past the festival hub frequently; published lap distance is approximately 5.3 km).
Aquabike options are available in both full and half distances (river swim plus road cycling). The festival atmosphere includes live music, food and drink, family-friendly activities and the memorable “Tent of Enlightenment” close to Race HQ. On-site camping is available across the weekend to simplify logistics, parking is available, and St Neots town centre is a short walk from Race HQ. Finishers receive an exclusive Odyssey medal, an event T-shirt and post-race goodies. ATW also offers flexible entry transfer options to future events where permitted.
