Bedford Triathlon Team Relays

The Bedford Triathlon Team Relays return to Box End Park for a lively team-based race that blends competition with camaraderie. Sponsored by Zone3, the event invites experienced triathletes and newcomers alike to race as teams of three, each athlete completing a swim, bike and run in turn before the team progresses to the next discipline. Based at a well-regarded multi-sport venue, the format is simple, fast and social, with all changeovers taking place in transition and a capped field to keep racing smooth and safe.

Teams tackle a 750 m open-water swim, a single-lap 23 km bike, and a 5 km run around the park’s established route. The event is licensed under national governing body rules, with helmets mandatory and a Race Pass or membership required. On-site facilities are practical and focused on racing, with toilets close to transition, a tea tent serving homemade cakes, and ample parking within the event confines. A mobile medical crew is on standby, and clear pre-race communications, including a video briefing, help teams prepare efficiently.
