The Aschauer Vorsilvesterlauf is an annual year‑end road running event held in Aschau im Chiemgau, Germany. The 2026 edition (Aschauer Vorsilvesterlauf) is scheduled for 28 December and is organised by Lauffeuer Chiemgau e.V. together with the Gewerbeverein Aschau e.V. The event features a main measured 5 km race and a separate children's run of 1.7 km, and results and race information are published on the official event website.
The course is a flat, precisely measured three‑lap circuit through the town centre that organisers describe as very spectator‑friendly and accompanied by a DJ to create a festive atmosphere. Multiple 5 km waves are held in the evening, with a children's race earlier on the programme, and prize‑givings are staged after each race. Road closures and a central start/finish area are used to manage safety and logistics for participants and spectators.
