Aberdeen 10k 2026 | Race for Life – Cancer Research UK is a community fundraising 10k taking place at Seaton Football Pitches on Sunday 28 June 2026. The event is part of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life programme and raises funds for life‑saving cancer research while welcoming participants of all abilities. The course starts and finishes on the grass beside the Raymond Kelly Pavilion and the organisers encourage participants to take part at their own pace.
The 10k is chip-timed so runners can track personal bests and the route is a double lap of the 5k circuit, with the first 1–1.5 km on grass and the majority on road. The event offers refreshments and toilet facilities, accessible provisions for wheelchair users for most of the route, and a designated nearby car park at Pittodrie Stadium. On-site accessibility support includes BSL stage content via QR code, Sunflower wristbands and Dementia Friends volunteers to help participants where needed.
