8th Tine Airfield Run

The 8. Tine-Flugplatzlauf is scheduled for 7 June 2026 and is organised by AC Nordfriesland e. V. (ACNF). The organiser describes a new, officially measured course for 2026 with the race start moved to the Julius-Leber-Kaserne and cooperation from Bundeswehr units; the main races (5 km and 10 km) are planned on public roads around the former Flugplatz Schauendahl. The event continues its affiliation with regional series and cups and retains a community focus that includes shorter, family-oriented runs.

The 2026 edition retains a charitable element with proceeds supporting the Soldatenhilfswerk and remains open particularly to members of the Bundeswehr while welcoming civilian participants. ACNF notes that the short-distance and introductory runs will take place within the site, while the 5 km and 10 km distances will use measured, fast routes in the public area.
