The 7. Bären Run (7th Bear Run) is an obstacle cross‑country event staged by SV Floh‑Seligenthal in the Haderholz / Seligenthal area of Floh‑Seligenthal, Thuringia, Germany. The race blends natural trail sections with roughly 20 built and natural obstacles per lap, offering a playful yet demanding course that organisers describe as suitable for a wide age range. Distances of 6 km, 12 km and 18 km are offered, with laps and obstacles repeated depending on distance, and the event slogan is “BÄREN RUN - AUFGEBEN IST KEINE OPTION”.
The official information (Ausschreibung) sets the event date as Sunday 4 October 2026 with the first start at 10:00 and a participant cap noted in the event rules; race administration uses multiple timed start waves and transponder timing. Registration opens online (Raceresult) and the organiser provides bibs with timing transponders, starter bags, on‑course refreshments, medical cover, on‑site parking and a finisher medal, with online results and downloadable certificates and photos after the race. Participants must collect race materials in person (or via a designated team captain) and under‑18s require parental consent as stated in the official documents.
