The 4. Kranichlauf Wanninchen is a community running event organised by the Heinz Sielmann Stiftung and listed on the Luckauer Läuferbund site as the 9. Wertungslauf in the Spreewaldcup 2026. It takes place at the Heinz Sielmann Natur-Erlebniszentrum Wanninchen and is scheduled for 10 October 2026, with a public start time of 10:00. The race is set on the edge of a protected natural area, giving participants a distinctive setting of dunes and woodland adjacent to the Schlabendorfer See. Entrants can expect a family-orientated atmosphere promoted by local organisers and regional race officials.
The course is described on the official event page as very flat and offering imposing panoramic views over the Schlabendorfer See, making it suitable for a broad range of abilities.
