The 200-km Werdenfelser Frauen-Rundfahrt 2026 is a women-only brevet organised by ARA München / Oberbayern and scheduled for Saturday 27 June 2026, with a mass start around 08:00 and a time limit of 13.5 hours. This single-day randonneur event covers roughly 200 km with approximately 1,800 m of elevation and is designed for experienced long-distance cyclists seeking a challenging route. The event is part of the Superrandonneur-Serie and serves as a qualification opportunity for Paris–Brest–Paris, emphasising endurance and self-sufficiency over podium competition.
The route narrative (Werdenfelser Frauen-Rundfahrt) departs from Munich and follows a series of notable waypoints including the Starnberger See, Murnau, Bad Kohlgrub, Ettaler Mühlen and the Ettaler Sattel, then through the Loisach Auen to Partenkirchen with a rest at the Goas Alm, continuing past Walchensee to Benediktbeuren and finishing at the 3 Mills with a Feierabend beer. Due to high demand the organiser offers two slightly different route variants: groups 1–4 follow the originally planned line while groups 5–8 take an alternative alignment up to Murnau, with differing checkpoint arrangements. Checkpoints are recorded using the Digital Brevetkarte in photo mode and the organiser provides a video guide for participants on how to use the app.
The event highlights its women-only focus and community orientation while retaining the classic brevet format of self-supported long-distance cycling over mixed road and mountainous terrain. The organiser page notes that participant names are not publicly visible and that further logistical details such as exact start venue within Munich, registration fees and participant lists are provided on the event page or via the organiser. Riders should consult the official ARA München / Oberbayern page for final instructions, group assignments and any late updates prior to the event.
